Be It Sunny or Foggy

Let me practice singing sky songs with you.

You have a deep pool in your heart
and a mountain overlooking a river of moonlight.

I can sleep in a corner of the meadow, on the marsh grass
with a blanket and a cloud for a pillow.

We can work on our dreamable projects in each other’s shadow.

Let us develop telepathy, and I will send you celestial words
for your pleasure without a whisper.

We could chant together only in twilight, and separate
afterward into the deep interior between breaths.

Let me sit in spirit, mind out of the way, honey lines
gliding in the slow blue air.

Let me live in this unbelievable background pointing into infinity.

Let me be the naked child again, trembling within the wordless.

Let me practice safety with you.

Each of us a quiver in the great vibrating blessedness.
